Ah, it’s been a crazy few weeks here in theProphet’s camp. Really it’s just been a crazy couple of weeks at The Infidel Netwerk. Getting the weekly updates going (with lots of new content), revising the websites, building storylines and concepts for many different projects, as well as working with a wide variety of new collaborators, shooting music videos with and for them, as well as finalizing work on a whole slew of new Jenova Project material. IT HAS BEEN BUSY to say the least.
Now if that wasn’t a mouthful I don’t know what is. Now let me elaborate a little. The Infidel Netwerk went on a hiatus over the summer while I, and a couple other members of the Netwerk, predominantly spent it with our families. However, during that period we all silently worked on our projects, and near the end of summer we reconvened, and have been steadily finishing off old projects that needed finishing from before the summer, and preparing for the release of projects composed during the summer. So naturally, The Infidel Netwerk restarted mid-September, and has been putting out updates every week since. Several new releases have come out, including a new Jenova Project album, the long awaited Dystopia collaboration with Tom Musik, as well as a complete remaster of the Shadowalker LP.
I have also been busy working with Matt & Colin for our next major effort. We have a second EP which we are going to put out. But before we do that we have a music video to release, which we are just shooting the final shots for now. It will be the last one to be associated with our first EP, as we have two singles from the second EP which we intend to release shortly, in await for the full second EP’s release.
Another interesting collaboration release which I have recently been part of that has came out has been the Gaggle album. Entitled “I Forgot My Album’s Name”, it features 9 explosive tracks of genre bending madness. I go by the alias of Darth Vapor, and I collaborate with Donald Fuck (who is an alias for… you to find out). The music is dancey, fun, and completely nonsensical, and did I mention FREE! Busy me I am, I also have released the collaboration EP with Jessikadabra, for our projected OurTrees, entitled The Other Side EP. Featuring some of our longer and more experimental songs, this release really is a defining moment in the OurTrees career. It’s been a long and exciting ride bringing both of the OurTrees releases to you guys over the last year, and we have more coming soon!
Lastly *cough* but most importantly *cough*, I have released a new single for Jenova Project for an upcoming EP entitled the Welcome To Inferno EP. This release will feature 5 tracks, 3 with vocals, and 2 instrumental. The release is short, and it will be free, a teaser until the next big release which will be announced (and released) sooner then you think! The single is entitled Tunnel, and the song can be downloaded for free on my official Bandcamp.
